When early settlers first arrived in Independence, they found good hunting, fishing, timber, and what would be their most important find, naturally occurring springs. The combination of these things allowed them to replenish the supplies they needed to continue exploration and the journey westward.

This historic discovery put Independence on the map, creating opportunities to build community on the land. Fast forward to today, this water is still as fresh as the first drop drawn by settlers, voted Best in Missouri, and Top 10 in the world.
